Give a Mouse a Cookie
...
And he will ask for milk.
I think about that often. I certainly wouldn't eat a cookie without milk. That's just not right. Some things are meant to be paired together and forever.
Would it be wrong for the individual rodent character to ask for a complimentary beverage? Or would it be rudely over stepping in its request?
Again. Some things are simply meant to be paired together.
You can't give a homeless man a popeyes biscuit with no water; that would be attempted murder. Thus, if you give a mouse a cookie, you must give him milk. What if the cookie is dry and brittle? Or if the milk lacks a delectable sweetness? What if both conditions occur? The answer is simple. If you give the mouse a cookie, expect to give it milk.
